Action Plan Types
Action plan types allow action plans to be tagged and identified easily in their place in an action plan hierarchy or relationship to a specific project (for example). There are no default action plan types in the Escendency system so organisations determine their own from the action plan type menu option accessed from the button (figure 1).

Click on Add to create a new action plan type and then click Save (figure 2). Action plan types can then be assigned to new or existing action plans from the Action Planning module, or from the Edit Action Plan link from Action Plan Summary reports.
